 Welcome to the Chew On This Charters captains page. Captain Nelson Diaz and Captain Jason LeValley have been fishing with Captain Ben Chancey since before he began Chew On This Charters and the Chew On This Saltwater Fishing Show. Captain Nelson grew up in SW Florida fishing the Sanibel, Pine Island, and Captiva areas since he was 7 years old. As a young boy Captain Nelson was on the cover of a book that focused on the lives and culture of residents on the Southern tip of Sanibel. Captain Nelson has caught some of the largest Snook and Goliath Grouper seen in recent years in SW Florida. In the "Goliath Fury" episode of the Chew On This Saltwater Fishing Show, Captain Nelson landed a 504 pound Goliath Grouper on a 3 pound Jack Crevalle.
He actually landed the Goliath in an unbelievable 4 minutes and 45 seconds. Captain Nelson is also famous for a segment of a Goliath show where Captain Eric Manino of the fishing show "Inshore Fishing Techniques" hooked into a 400 pound Goliath and was pinned against the deck. Captain Nelson reached down and hand lined the big Goliath to the boat in 17 seconds. Even one of the sports programming producers at ESPN said "that was the best fishing segment I have ever seen." 
For all of you viewers out there that have wondered who is the videographer that catches all of this footage on film for the Chew On This Saltwater Fishing Show. Well, it is none other than Captain Jason LeValley. Captain Jason was there for the filming of the first Chew On This Saltwater Fishing Show and has been there ever since. He has seen first hand where and how Captain Ben fishes for years and years now. Captain Jason has taken the knowledge he has learned from Captain Ben and used it to guide multiple clients to huge Goliath Grouper, Snook, Gag Grouper, Trout, and Tarpon.
Captain Nelson and Captain Jason are young energetic Captains that have grown up learning the waters of SW Florida with some of the top fisherman of the area. They target fish that provide very high intensity moments with blood pumping and heart pounding action.
